Mistakes You Want To Avoid When Creating Soda Water

One of the things you should avoid doing when making your own soda water is using cream chargers with your siphon.  As much as these gas chargers look the same, make sure you are using the right gas charger.  You should also avoid taking off the siphon head without making sure that it has been depressurized.  Do not put flavored water inside the soda siphon.  If you want to add in some natural flavoring, do so once you have poured your soda water in a glass or pitcher.  You should also avoid storing a charged siphon inside the freezer.  You can only keep the charged seltzer bottle for chilling in the fridge.  Most importantly, do not use soda chargers that are not HACCP certified.
